I am NOT a happy camper right now. When I see that someone has visited my blog I try to visit theirs, read their posts and leave a message as well. I have had the great pleasure to find some very enjoyable blogs this way. Many have become pages that I visit and read often.
The exception to that is tonight. I was visiting sites belonging to those who visited my blog and found that the posting on this one site was very disturbing. This person had the nerve to make statements about my country that are not true. I will not repeat what is written there so as to not give it further promotion. Let me just say that I am deeply grieved that someone would say those things about the greatest country in the world. Has this person lived here?? I don't know. Certainly if he/she has, they would have experienced just how wonderful it is to be in this land of freedom and promise.
There is nothing I can say or do to take away the ugliness of that persons site. I truly wish I could hurt their hearts as they have mine, but then, that would make me like them and that wouldn't be good either.
May God have mercy on the souls of those who spew ugliness, bitterness and horror. What comes around goes around. Sow beauty and you get beauty back. Sow hatred and ugliness you get that back.

when people say things that are not true, i excuse their ignorance. most of the time everyone is speaking with limited knowledge about someone else. we speak in ignorance.

have no clue who you're talking about or what they said...but apparently it was disturbing enough to move you to post about it. Hate is a terrible thing...and the sad fact that hate, intolerance and bigotry are all learned makes me very pessimistic that things will ever truly change. Don't have a bit of idea what they said. But clearly understanding that it had greatly hurt for u. I can only say a little prayer like u, may God have mercy on the souls of those who spew ugliness and bitterness. What can I say else.
